To support the new Faculty Director of the Blum Center, the administrative operations professional manages, plans and administers the scheduling and operations of a multidisciplinary organized research unit. This includes arranging, preparing for, and following up on the Director’s activities, meetings, commitments and important priorities. Also, demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions while interacting with faculty, staff, and students.
The Blum Center is looking for a talented writer to join our team. Working on both solo and team projects, our Writing Assistant will have the opportunity to produce various publications for marketing, outreach and events. This includes drafting written content for Blum Center communication channels, conducting research and interviews related to the programs and initiatives in the Blum Center as needed, and staffing and reporting on Center events.
The Design Assistant will provide graphic design and general support to the Blum Center for Developing Economies. This includes designing posters, flyers and other print media materials for events and activities of the Center, formatting documents for dissemination, and drafting reports and public documents.
The Website Content & Design Manager will help maintain and update the Blum Center websites and contribute to the Center’s web and design-related special projects. This includes routinely updating and managing the Center’s websites, including pages, posts, widgets, menus, and other features, as well as performing maintenance, detect bugs, and install updates to websites as needed.
