Annual citizens’ idea contest that seeks out and rewards between $1000 – $10,000 to the most innovative public policy proposals (grand prize winner receives $10,000; four runners-up receive $1,000 each, and other proposals receive special recognition). For 2016, Pioneer Institute seeks proposals to improve quality and access to care for individuals living with mental health illness through innovative approaches to insurance, health care, human services and partnerships between government agencies and mental health care providers.
